Hi LMG
I don't but it's very common. Try out these sites: http://www.ibsgroup.org/ http://www.ibsassociation.org/ www.niddk.nih.gov/health/digest/ pubs/irrbowel/irrbowel.htm http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/SelfHelp...ns/ibs/ibs.asp  ROB, Supernurse, signing out! http://www.freeserbia.net/Gifs/Nurse.jpg |
u r a nurse arent u rob???
is ibs anything to worry about? |
My daughter suffers quite badly from this -and has to be very careful what she eats.
I understand there are lots of different forms - might be worth doing a search on the web. |
Here is an even better idea.
Visit your GP, if you have one :nono: |

i have seen my doctor.
i was just asking for advice. thank you rob, very helpful. busy bee have you any advice?? please? |
IBS is nasty not only because of the discomfort but also because it is hard to treat and to be totally honest the docters have no idea what causes it or really how to treat it.
I had it for a while and found out that once i stopped the large nights and out and the curries my IBS went away... It does reappear every now and again though. Also stress is a good cause of IBS.... |
thanks rusty
so if i eat healthier, it will improve? |

Not in my experience LMG!!!:bawling:

Peppermint is very good for the digestion, miss little glitzee. You can buy peppermint tablets in health food shops. Also, I believe you can buy it as a drink. I'm pretty sure I've seen peppermintade or some such in Tesco's.
