Big Brother vs Survivor (2001)

For those of you who were big Reality TV Fans in 2001, which show did you watch the most during the summer, six years ago?

To be honest, I watched Survivor more than Big Brother, because my mum still didn't like the idea of a show like BB, thinking it wasn't socially educational, etc...

Which was Survivor 2001, the one where Charlotte won?

I loved Survivor! The woman that came 2nd was a teacher from my school and she couldnt tell us if she had won or not. But i think i preferred BB even though i was only 10 at the time and my mum wouldnt let me watch it but id sneakily watch it in my room.

I only REALLY started to watch Big Brother in 2002 because the housemates were awesome, and so were the twists.

Also, does anyone remember JJ? The girl who was hated. And I am doing a Survivor at DS.

I used to be a massive Survivor addict. However I didn't start watching Big Brother and Survivor until 2000, 1 year after their air date. So I missed out on the first seasons, but I do have Survivor: Borneo on DVD now (along with 6 other seasons) :dance2: . However as of now I love Big Brother more because of the realness, the ability to like characters and get to know them more, more drama, and quite frankly it's less predictable.

I was a major Survivor addict as well, and I missed out on BB1US. I watched BB2US after Mike was eliminated, and I gradually started watching more BB and less Survivor.

See I still watch the shows, but BB catches my attention more because I think it has bigger characters. There's no way you can compete with the Dr. Will's, Boogie's, Will Mega's, Chicken George & Howie's, Janelle! Theres too many big characters to list and it provides more entertainment.

I watched Survivor, only started watching BB during the third series.

BB: All Stars didn't appeal to me. I don't watch survivor anymore, now that it is in it's Nth season. I loved BB6 and Janelle, though.

Big Brother didn't like Survivor.

Chilltown 22-04-2007 06:23 PM

ummm, Survivor is on Season 14. How could you not love all-stars, it was as good as BB2! :thumbs2:
