why are my threads not big hits with people.
i always seem not to get many replies, or people veiws.

to help please tell me what you think of my threads

Because you expect a reply within a few minutes. Not everyone's going to reply straight away.

Your threads need to be something that are catchy or warrant a reply

tell me which ones dont warrant a reply pleasse

markus like i said in andy recent thread with the pool he posted it and within 3/4 min he had answer and my thread was on there for 5 /6 minutes

Corporal, Your Threads are fine but the more you rant on the more people think your Posts are pointless, Adn plus you doint give peeople enough time to answer to your post for example if someone doesnt post in two minutes after your post has been posted then you think that noone is going to post in it ever. Peoples internet may be slow and the pages may load or members may be looking at other pasrts of the forum and havent seen your posts yet. Your Posts are fine but people dont know when you have posted as you dont get a pop up saying "Corporal Has now Posted". Plus you always posts thread asking p about wether theey like you or if your posts are ok. Just post normally and give people time to reply ok?

What do you mean big hits? It depends what they're about and whether people have lots to say about the subject! Also, you can't expect replies straightaway. Everyone goes through the same thing when they post a topic.

Yeah its really annoying. After a minute if someone doesnt reply you go 'so its apointless thread, no one likes me, blah'

Just let it flow, and Im sure youll get replies.

it quite unusuall for me to be on here this lon but i aint normally on here for this long then i have to wait the next evening to see the replies or any questions anyone has posted.

It depends what the thread is about, if people like what you are saying or they agree with what you are saying they will post. Just wait a little time and you'll get loads of replies. :)

Well threads like this - you are simply asking the same thing that you have asked in other threads. Yes some people answer others threads sooner, that is partly down to freindships etc.. doesnt mean yours will not eventually get answers. People will only reply to threads that catch their attention is the main point I was trying to make in my none to tactful manner. Maybe if you tried using punchier titles to lure people in :hello:

as you are not aloud to use caps

Maybe think of a joke or something.

I mean think about the wording - something that will catch peoples attention. Instead of saying My threads you could maybe have said:

Can Anyone......

It would entice people to come in to see what you mean.

Am I making sense?

(Spiders) & (Ants) get replies, "so I found out!!", Corporal.

Every topic which get's started, may or may not appeal to other forum members.

I am not interested in Big Brother EyE's, so I don't reply to any, maybe I am not the only one?

But if it is interesting to myself, I shall always answer, no matter who starts it. But some forum members may only reply to topics started by forum friends? It is like a little friendly gang that forms a circle.
