I think I just love the funk/rhythm of it, I barely even noticed the lyrics when I first listened lmao (I thought she was singing 'weed' not weave' :laugh: ) But I think the lyrics are meant to be basic, like it's more a burst of raw energy and feeling rather than her trying to say anything deep and meaningful, I don't think that's what she's really trying to do with it and so it works for what it aims to be imo, so personally it doesn't make me cringe... Katy Perry's 'Chained to The Rhythm' on the other hand... :whistle:
