I'm not sure if that first bit is your opinion or something someone else said but no one has the right to see Female reporters paid less than men.

Someone could just as easily say they have every right to commit crimes, to rape and murder to do whatever they want to do. They don't. Paying for your TV licence entitles you to watch BBC programmes without fear of a fine - nothing more.

Different women in the same job get different wages.
It's not all about your gender, it's about how much work you actually do as well.
If you are popular and been in the same job slot for a lengthy time then you will naturally be able to do a better wage deal for yourself.
If you bring in more viewers/listener due to your popularity then you will also be paid higher, business is business.

So why does Dan Walker from BBC breakfast get so much more than Louise who's been there MUCH LONGER
Why does Matt Baker earn more than Alex Jones?? She's been there longer

Dan Walker has already commented that they get the same on the Breakfast news, but he has added wages from his job on Football Focus.

The figures released are for the present time/year, some of the female presenters on the news etc earned more than others, reason being some are part time and some do other jobs as well. (Strictly come dancing for example).

Gary Lineker is paid the same as 45 nurses – or 44 teachers.
