Raph is so jealous of Andrew

He is so bitter he is going home poor

Vanessa 19-07-2017 10:29 PM

Jealous of Andrew? As if! :joker:

Serg 19-07-2017 10:29 PM

Raph is so annoying lately, like he's acting like he's above everyone else and that money shaming is really stupid. Not everyone has high earning and comes from a wealthy family so sit tf down you virgin.

TaylorCallum 19-07-2017 10:30 PM

I'm pretty sure Raph is already comfortable financially. I don't think he really needs nor wants the money, but when he wins next week he'll get 65k anyway so good for him :flutter:.

Vicky. 19-07-2017 10:30 PM

I didn't understand that rant at all and I do wonder if he will direct some of his anger at hannah. He was making out as if if Andrew didn't press then noone would have took the money and that, when Raphs mate pressed too...but that seemed conveniently forgotten?!

Vanessa 19-07-2017 10:31 PM

To be fair Andrew said he wasn't in it for the money. He kicked up such a fuss when Simone said he was in it only for the money.

Littlegreen 19-07-2017 10:31 PM

Disappointed at his doubts being proven true.

- It was more about Andrew screwing over Sam with the second-chance money.

This!

Amy Jade 19-07-2017 10:32 PM

He came across as very bitter and sanctimonious in the diary room imo

Vanessa 19-07-2017 10:39 PM

Andrew said he wasn't in it for the money, then pressed the button. He didn't owned up to it and that's Raph problem with it.

Shaun 19-07-2017 10:43 PM

(he's obviously not poor but)

Yeah it was a strange objection. I'm guessing he's hoping for a couple of things:

- Josie and Simone have gone in there with the immediate trashing of Andrew's CHARACTAH and so Raph assumes he's unpopular on the outside. Go against him = gain public favour.
- Enough people were annoyed about Jason winning (semi true) that they'd go against Andrew too.

But I think - and I've said this to Raph lol - his fanning of Big Brother and all things gameplay is a little bit weak and open to manipulation by emotional influence. It's personally why I've never enjoyed overseas editions of the show (that and I've just never bothered ) I think he's just taken a strong objection to Jason/Lateysha and run with it. The 'tainted money' stuff is a little bit of a weak excuse.

reece(: 19-07-2017 10:44 PM

isn't Raph loaded?

Littlegreen 19-07-2017 10:46 PM

The public didn't vote Andrew as the last remaining second-chance housemate. Therefore the money earned by him evicting Sam is in a way "tainted".

Shaun 19-07-2017 10:47 PM

I mean, yeah, it's "tainted", but compared to "prize fund for winning Big Brother" is it really any worse?

Yup! I agree. I recon Simone was telling the truth about Andrew saying he needs the money. She had no reason to make that up, she had nothing to gain from it.

The public didnt vote for him to see Josie but he still took it

Simone was right about Andrew. There's nothing wrong in taking the money. But after he made such a fuss about not being there for the money he looks like a bit of a hypocrite.

Withano 19-07-2017 10:50 PM

He didn't come off well at all in that rant

The money didn't belong to anybody.

Macie Lightfoot 19-07-2017 10:53 PM

I mean, I think Raph's huuuuge blindspot here other than his general sanctimony is that he doesn't realize that "I'm here for the experience" and "I will take nearly 35K especially bc more than half of it is going to go to waste if nobody does" are not conflict view points at all. Taking money isn't a crime and it doesn't disqualify someone from wanting to have the experience of being on BB, especially when you were only on the show in the first place as part of a condition regarding second chance HMs.

None of them like to admit they are there for the money.
The difference between Raph and Andrew is that Andrew cannot win the ultimate game. Sam could have kicked him out on Friday empty handed..but Sam was too thick.
Andrew did the right thing.
If Hannah had won he wouldn't have said that about her...Deborah has said previously she would take the money if she had the chance as she had had the experience but had to think of her family...he never dissed her for it.
He would have gained more respect for being happy for Andrew. He just showed himself as being bitter and jealous. Had Raph been the 2nd chance housemate he would have done exactly the same thing.
Andrew didn't like Simone exposing his private financial position by saying he 'hadn't got a pot to piss in'...
Just enjoy the 'experience' Raph and don't put people down for having different agendas. Most people are there to win the money..nothing wrong with that.

pontyboi 19-07-2017 11:08 PM

Well good on him the dudes been in there for less than half the series. Raphs a fan and obviously that's gonna piss him off.

So why would he risk Sam taking it and kicking him out on Friday...?
The guy seems to genuinely need the money...15k..33k isn't to be sniffed at.
It could set him up in his own business...deposit for a house..help his family?
Raph should have been pleased for him..Andrew isn't in the game on Raphs terms..Andrew can't win..Andrew cannot walk out the door winner of the show.
Nobody should hold it against Andrew for what he did...he did the right thing.
The guy is walking out with 33k in his pocket...and the 'experience'...good for him.

Northern Monkey 19-07-2017 11:22 PM

I actually thought Raph had a point there.Andrew was protesting so much about not being there for money. He could've taken the £18k and let Sam have a chance at the £15k if that was the case. Also Andrew didn't seem to give **** that he just evicted Sam.He didn't even go and speak to him.

Vanessa 19-07-2017 11:23 PM

How can he be jeaous? He doesn't need the money.
