But they didn't and the final was fine
So why do it this year

It honestly seems like the whole "producers trying to ruin civillian BB so they can cancel it" rumours are true

I think he means a second backdoor eviction. Sam and Alex's was fine just as the one tonight is, but like the upcoming one on Wednesday, a Jayne/Evelyn backdoor eviction just two days before the final would have been awful.
