"Love, peace and harmony"? The irony!!

Funny how the housemates who sing 'love, peace and harmony' are the housemates with the most anger issues !

Kazanne 26-07-2017 10:24 PM

What a nasty skank Chanelle really is.

Robodog 26-07-2017 10:25 PM

I know

She was bad enough as a housemate

Tonight she was just raw skank

Headie 26-07-2017 10:28 PM

because Rebecca and Andrew clearly came out of tonight looking calm and mentally stable

joeysteele 26-07-2017 10:32 PM

I'm glad, although the wording could have been better, that Chanelle really hammered Rebecca, even moreso how she worked Andrew into showing how he really is.

Was a bizarre incident for sure.

It's a way for the exiles to literally win any argument ever
All they have to do is sing it and the other person is DONE

Aren't they just! What a load of loud mouthed hags! All I can say is I'm glad I don't live in the same street as them.

It is pretty ironic.I think it's a tactic to try and calm their anger down tbh.

Epic. 26-07-2017 10:38 PM

I must've missed the scene that Andrew & Rebecca sang this. Glad they came to their senses

Winning the argument?

It's the opposite of winning an argument!

It's a sign of losing the argument when you have to start singing loudly like that!

Like when 8 year olds say 'talk to the hand' or 'i know you are.. but what am i?'

I have to agree. I ignored my own first impressions of her and actually liked her for a few weeks, but she gradually showed me that was a mistake. Tonight she displayed what a truly disgusting creature she really is.

Withano 26-07-2017 10:45 PM

I love how the song is used to defeat arguments now. No irony here, the somg really does create love, peace, and harmony.

:clap1: Exactly. They were "singing" to drown out the other person. It hardly winning the argument, is it?

Maybe.

I think it's just passive-aggressive the way they use it.

Combination of passive-aggression and a lack of mature arguing skills.

True say Nancy.

And it totally lacks any love, peace or harmony whatsoever!!

You couldn't make it up!

You can hardly call a person who cant get a word in edgeways the winner of an argument, they dont even feature in the argument.
The song makes arguments futile, and thats why the exiles always win.

That would be true if the people who sing it (Chanelle, Hannah) never actually argued themselves.

But the truth is: Chanelle and Hannah argue LOADS. Chanelle STARTS most of the arguments. She loves a row. Even admitted it in her eviction interview.

They argue, argue, argue then they only use the song when they start LOSING the argument and run out of track.

It's the desperate last resort of someone on the ropes.

Like saying 'whatEVER!!!' or 'talk to the hand'

Kids stuff.

Tbf Rebecca lost the argument with Hannah as soon as she said that "the public hate you" after Hannah beat Rebecca in a public vote, and beat Chanelle and Ellie last week. It just makes Rebecca look silly and pathetic.

I however do think that the Rubber Duck argument shouldn't have been used to call Andrew a Snake as Raph was being silly imo.
