The student head of Cambridge's equality group has claimed that 'all white people are racist' after praising rioters in Dalston who lit bonfires and hurled petrol bombs at police.

Jason Osamede Okundaye, who runs the Black and Minority Ethnic society at the elite institution, posted the shocking tweets amid violent protests in east London last night over the death of Rashan Charles.

He said that white people had 'colonised' Dalston and ordered them to 'go back' to areas such as Exeter and 'Solihurst' (sic).

Okundaye, 20, wrote to his thousands of Twitter followers: 'ALL white people are racist. White middle class, white working class, white men, white women, white gays, white children they can ALL geddit.'

The student at Cambridge's Pembroke College also claimed it was 'absolutely delicious' to watch 'middle-class white people despair over black people protesting in their colonised Dalston'.

A spokesman for the University said: 'The College is looking into this matter and will respond appropriately.'

Kind of impossible seeing as no one is born racist - so white children can't be racist until they are exposed to racism and told that it what is right

He lowkey didn't lie. Obviously not everyone is consciously racist or deliberately discriminatory towards others because of their skin colour but we do live in a white privileged society and ethnic minorities are still oppressed today, so growing up in that sort of culture surely has some sort of impact on our psyche. I'm sure there's a little bit of subconscious racism in everyone.

I am sure if I was living in say Chad and i was being picked on and insulted for being white and different I would probably thing "they are being racist"

I would not be having an entitlement debate with myself or googling "dear white people"

Minorities can be racist towards white people, get over it.

Racism - prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

It doesn't matter if they hold power or not, if someone is discriminatory to someone because of their race, it's racism.

Not really sure what you're ":umm2:" at? It's a fact. White people are at an advantage in society and ethnic minorities are at a disadvantage.

It's not racism. There's plenty of black and white idiots out there alike but you need to familiarise yourself with the context and history of the word racism.
