What's your hangover cure?

Got to be multiple packets of crisps or a huge bowl of pasta

Jack_ 30-07-2017 10:18 PM

Bacon sandwich every time

LukeB 30-07-2017 10:18 PM

coffee

smudgie 30-07-2017 10:21 PM

Back in the drinking days, prairie oyster before rushing out to work.
Then have a bacon bun at break time.

Nah everybody shut up and let me impart some wisdom.

Travel sickness tablets before you sleep. stops the dizzy feeling, gets you a better sleep, and works 100% of the time in my experience. Use your other tactics on top of this if you must, but everybody that has tried my tactic has thanked me for it. I'm like the Mother Theresa of binge drinking.

I can't really cure my hangovers, I'm dead for the whole next day.

Ashley. 30-07-2017 10:31 PM

Cup of tea usually does it. But I rarely get hangovers. :p

TomC 30-07-2017 10:33 PM

Depends how severe.

I don't normally get hangovers tbh, but once in a while I overdo it and vomit and can't keep anything down.

In cases like these I have to sip water and eat bland food. When I can keep stuff down - junk food.

Daniel. 30-07-2017 10:34 PM

I can't eat, I puke everything up

Alf 30-07-2017 10:35 PM

Hair of the dog

Daniel-X 30-07-2017 10:35 PM

Don't suffer from them, even if I've been sick the night before.

Only time I did suffer from one I couldn't even drink water, it made me throw up again.

Strictly Jake 31-07-2017 09:15 AM

sleep!

Niamh. 31-07-2017 09:22 AM

Apparently the best cure (according to a Doctor I know) is Berocca Boost and a dioralyte, I tried it one time and it's pretty good

Underscore 31-07-2017 09:29 AM

I don't really get hangovers, even when I had to go to hospital. I just get mild shakes next day

Cal. 31-07-2017 09:35 AM

Nothing I do works I just suffer massively all day like right now

Ellen 31-07-2017 09:47 AM

A hot/warm oxo cube drink works for me

Crimson Dynamo 31-07-2017 10:00 AM

There are no cures but if you drink 2 large glasses of water before you sleep that will at least stave off the main issue in the morning which is dehydration.

Food when you wake up will help your stomach.

When on my golfing holidays with the boys once we have had a full fry up we feel brand new. A round of golf, which is 3.5 hours walking and exercising in the fresh air helps tremendously.

In fact you are just about "cured" by 5 pm which is handy as that is when the first pint of that days bender is sunk

:hee:

armand.kay 31-07-2017 10:14 AM

most times all I get is heart burn for a day so I don't really suffer from hangovers.

Josy 31-07-2017 12:41 PM

I drink water before i sleep actually i normally switch to water if i feel ive had enough and that seems to work for me.

Sometimes though im a greedy bitch and take it too far then end up ill the entire next day binging on complete junk food and always end up phoning a chinese for dinner :/

Crimson Dynamo 31-07-2017 01:30 PM

andrews liver salts when you wake up is very effective and i use that all the time, it also. keeps you regular. Home bargains do it for 2.99
