Fan Clubs

I think you should only be a member of 1 fan club at a time. It would make it much more interesting seeing popularity change as the series progresses

Who will support me in bringing about this revolution?

Niamh. 02-08-2017 02:08 PM

That's a good idea but I loved Issy, raph and debs equally through civilian and I wouldn't have been able to choose waaa

Paula D 02-08-2017 02:09 PM

Totally agree, people here on every fan club, talk about covering your bases!

joeysteele 02-08-2017 02:16 PM

I try to do that but if more than one housemate is genuinely liked by myself and I intend to support them with voting too.
Then I like to acknowledge that in their fan sections.

I think the most I've ever been in are 3 N the past.

This last BB,no contest I was only in Raph's.
There's none of this lot at present I feel strongly enough to join a fan thread yet.

y.winter 02-08-2017 02:25 PM

I think for the changing popularity there's the popularity strip at the top of the forum to follow.
The fanclubs are just for general support, which can be for several housemates.

You know what I mean Niamh, last night was only the first night and already people are fans of every single housemate? Not possible. I agree toward the middle/end you might support a few but on day 1?

We all know there are people on here who jump on to bandwagons and people who go the opposite way just to be controversial. And then there are those who turn against their "favourite" ten times in the one series. :nono:

Just does my head in, so childish.

I haven't even picked one yet because we haven't seen more than 5 minutes of anyone.

Littlegreen 02-08-2017 04:06 PM

I'm only a member of two.

I suspect most will end up drifting towards the one fanclub in the long run anyway, meh.

No i really don't know what you mean. Covering your bases sounds like you're going to get in trouble if you're wrong about who you pick or something

I usually don't join fanclubs either until a couple of weeks in for normal BB (except this year because I knew Raph from the forum) but for CBB since we already know alot of the HMs I think it's ok to join straight away. Anyway people can always leave if they change theirs minds on someone, better than sticking rigidly to a HM just because you joined a fan club imo

Nicky91 02-08-2017 04:18 PM

why :fist:

i love to be a member on many fanclubs :D

No it means you're gonna look like you were right when the winner emerges.

I think i will set up a petition and see if it gets enough signatures to be discussed in parliament... this is much more important than any of that EU stuff :idc:

I use them for research purposes. Like the Trisha one reminds just how many members we have under 18, so I can adjust my posting style to accommodate this young demographic.

You adjust your posting style? :joker::joker:

Locke. 02-08-2017 04:37 PM

But then the non-Danan fanclubs wouldn't have any members and would sink deep into the back pages, it's not fair

How do you mean right though? It isn't a guess the winner thing, you still like or dislike people whether they win or lose
