Worst summer in years?

Can't remember the last time the weather was so poor during the summer holidays, can't name the last time it was nice all day. Rained here literally every day since I got back off holiday (the 21st) without fail.

It's been pretty poor, I'm sure LT will have the tea

Seems like late May/June is always the hottest these days, usually get a week's 'heatwave' and that's it. Mind you last summer was one of the best for a long time, we had a fair amount of heat

Greg! 06-08-2017 05:30 PM

Yeah the weather has been dire!

Daniel-X 06-08-2017 05:32 PM

Getting major 2007 vibes this year!

Lostie! 06-08-2017 05:35 PM

We've had plenty of heat in recent months so I'm all here for constant rain for the rest of the year tbh. Really hope we're in for a cold autumn.

Wizard. 06-08-2017 05:36 PM

I thought this thread was going to be about Summer CBB :skull:

Littlegreen 06-08-2017 05:36 PM

Remember though we did have a few weeks here and there of blistering heat in May. You never know we may get an Indian Summer?

Daniel. 06-08-2017 05:37 PM

2013 is the only hot one of tens isnt it

LeatherTrumpet 06-08-2017 05:42 PM

Well at least we have been spared Lucifer

Scotland had an amazing May but we copped the jet stream this year

The tea on summer 2017 will be spilled when it ends at the end of August, of couse

Make it somewhere you can see the northern lights and you've got a deal.

LukeB 06-08-2017 06:00 PM

It's been alright weather wise for me.

LukeB 06-08-2017 06:00 PM

makes me excited for autumn

Jason. 06-08-2017 06:00 PM

It's been a boring summer too.

Jamesy 06-08-2017 06:18 PM

Here for this weather while in work

Can see September being really hot

Shaun 06-08-2017 06:30 PM

There was a good 3 weeks of what I deem "unbearable heat" and most deem "summer" but otherwise it's been relatively fine for me. Anything above 25 and I'm a bit dead. Just wish the rain would piss off this week.

Toy Soldier 06-08-2017 06:32 PM

Up here we had a couple of amazing weeks at the end of May / beginning of June, then three or four days a couple of weeks ago (went to the beach and kids were swimming in the sea and everything, the water was actually warm, it was like being on proppa holiday). Other than that it's been totally unpredictable. Blazing sunshine one day, pouring rain the next, freezing cold one day, over 20 degrees the next.

Garden has gone totally wild.

Toy Soldier 06-08-2017 06:34 PM

Tbf I'd prefer cold. As soon as it creeps over 20, the kids bedroom gets sweltering hot, and then the little ****s don't sleep well :fist:.

Cal. 06-08-2017 06:36 PM

Ugh the September heatwave will come

Cal. 06-08-2017 06:36 PM

August always seems to be more like Autumn than September

Tom4784 06-08-2017 07:01 PM

Here for this kind of summer :clap1:

The heat can **** off.

reece(: 06-08-2017 07:23 PM

Sick to death of rain

EspeonBB 06-08-2017 07:42 PM

I had a longer summer break than usual so I managed to catch some of the nice weather! Recently it's been horrible though I agree
