This isn't meant to be a dig at Paul but I'm pretty sure BB would've made him make up with her to stop her feeling so isolated to stop her walking

I don't think so, we saw Paul try to apologize in the kitchen during last nights episode so I think making up was something he wanted to do.

And it was Karthik that brought it up to Paul again, Paul was done with it (besides obviously using it as a reason for why he didn't want him to receive membership)

What should he have done, said "Yeah, I don't want Karthik to get membership but I'm not allowed to say why because a few members on TiBB don't want to hear about it"? He was put in a position to refuse Karthik membership, he's obviously going to use the one reason he has been given.

I thought this thread was gonna be about Paul and Sarah sharing make up tips. :D

You nailed it here. For this type of person, an apology just serves to facilitate getting away with the behaviour. He knows he's going to apologize before he engages in the behaviour in the first place. The apology is just another tactic.
