Hayfever

The sun comes out,the coats go,summer is heaven and then you remember, this means hayfever.Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.Its coming back!

Anyone else get hayfever?

MarkWaldorf 30-04-2007 08:47 PM

My sister has, I've never had it though.

I've also probably just jinxed myself.

Princess 30-04-2007 08:54 PM

I always get it!Well annoying. If I remember correctly I said of it last year 'I wish I could take out my eyeballs, soak them in water and put them back in again' Lovely image there :P

nodisharmony 30-04-2007 08:55 PM

Yes Laura, I'm dreading it!!:cloud:

May & June is usually the time and I shall be sneezing like mad and eyes watering and all the rest of it.

I always leave it till I'm sneezing like mad and then I buy the medication.

Yeah i do, i some-times get it so bad i look like i am crying.
So i take tablets for it, i can't remeber the name of them though.

wicky22 01-05-2007 02:27 AM

I get hayfever quite bad, last year couldn't find any tablets to do the trick

I have a head cold, and everyone keeps asking me if I have hay-fever. I've never had it before, so I doubt I ever will get it.

Am I right in thinking that people who suffer from it have done since childhood?

stacey 01-05-2007 10:12 AM

yeah i sometimes do but at the minute i don't seem to have it
never speak too soon though ey

Bells 01-05-2007 11:34 AM

I sneeze occasionally and get an itchy nose, and I didn't think anything of it until I realised not too long ago it was hayfever! Luckily *touchwood* I don't get it really badly though, so it's all good - I can enjoy the summer.

Corkie 01-05-2007 04:02 PM

Siouxsie 01-05-2007 04:04 PM

Crystal-Rose 01-05-2007 04:09 PM

ive never suffered from hayfever
but ive seen people with it and it doesent look very nice :puzzled:

lol

sol 01-05-2007 04:16 PM

Yeah I used to get it quite severely, but in recent years its worn off, probably due to the fact that we have no carpets in our house anymore, just floorboards cos carpets store the pollen.
My Dad also used to suffer really bad as well and his got better when mine did so that must've been the answer.
I still sneeze and get an itchy throat occasionally but I take tablets for that which clears it up. The best ones I ever took were ones beginning with 'Z' can't remember the exact name but they worked a treat, shame they don't make them anymore.

Matt08 01-05-2007 10:42 PM

Yeh i've got it quite bad. I've had it since I was 4. I'm on 7 tablets a day for it :(

Princess 07-06-2007 10:55 PM

Lmao Z

Talking of this I got a prescription today cos the pollen count is amazingly high here and I'm suffering badly. The tablets are called Cetirizine Dihydrochloride :conf2: lol.

It was like that for me in PE today, it has gotten worse. I looked like i was crying today.

Matt 09-06-2007 02:15 AM

I hate hayfever. I always get it at some point over the summer...

Nicola 12-06-2007 12:49 PM

I think I must have had it a bit recently, either that or it was a cold. I've got bad asthma as well and I'm really suffering with that at the moment, the other night I ended up getting out of breath due to a bad chest and a blocked nose.

sol 12-06-2007 06:25 PM

Those pills I've been taking for hayfever the past few days have worked wonders! No itchy throat, runny nose, headache or anything!

Matt 14-06-2007 12:56 PM

BAAAAH! Rechid hayfever! Gonna get me some Piriton (other brands of hayfever tablet are available!)
