She shouldn't get herself involved in drama then. Tonight was definitely not her fault, but usually she has some blame, and sometimes she even starts it!
And after moaning that noone has her back, Amelia went to check she was OK and she was screamed at for it. isd it any wodner they just let her get on with it?

It's not like they're a a couple, so why would she expect him to? They didn't even know each other two weeks ago, he doesn't owe her anything.

Even if they were a couple...why should he stand up for her in every situation? I wouldn't expect my husband to back me up in arguments and we have been together 10 bloody years. I wouldn't stand up for him either unless I thought he was in the right and was getting a hard time off a few people. The Sarah/Jemma thing is one on one. Why does Sarah think it should be Jemma V her and the rest of the house? Doesn't work like that.
IF the entire house was attacking Sarah AND Chad thought it was for nothing, I am sure he would stand up for her. In an argument between her and someone else (mnaybe when he knows Sarah has caused or contributed to it) why on earth should he get involved. Would look like ganging up too tbh, if everytime Jemma and Sarah had words Chad came strutting over to stick his nose in. Chad doesn't seem a confrontational person. Sarah is. And Jemma is. Add to this how the viewing public usually label a bloke a bully if they have words with a female...Chad doesn't know that most of the public hate Jemma so will excuse any bad behaviour towards her because of that D:
