Pick Your Greatest All-Time Premier League XI

25 year's in. What's yours?

Here's my team. Can't believe I've got 3 Liverpool players in. It makes me sick, but I had to be honest and pick who I think are the best players.

Good team. I felt bad not picking Shearer, that was my hardest choice.

Can't agree with your keeper though. Van der Saar was good, but Schmeichel is in the top 5 keepers that's ever lived.

Schmeichel was my second choice. Went for van der Saar purely because I grew up watching him.

De Gea

Neville - Terry - Ferdinhand - Cole

Gerrard - Makelele - Lampard

Ronaldo - Suarez - Henry

An honorable mention for Ian Harte at left back, very underrated

Nicky91 22-08-2017 04:58 PM

Buffon

Daniel Alves - Cannavaro - Stam - Van Bronckhorst

Gerrard - Xavi - Guardiola - Kaka

Ronaldo - Huntelaar

Premier League, Nicky

A tad limited with the choices but went with:

Schmeichel
Neville - Adams - Terry - Cole
Ronaldo - Vieira - Scholes - Hazard
Henry - Aguero

hard leaving out Bergkamp/Giggs but oh well. Defender choices in particular were a little weak.

Babayaro. 22-08-2017 06:35 PM

No Gerard or Lampard? Sacrilege.

Shaun 22-08-2017 06:45 PM

nothing on Scholes/Paddy soz

Babayaro. 22-08-2017 06:54 PM

Both better than Scholes

If your talking consistency over time, then players like Giggs an Shearer would have to be in there. But I chose my team by who I think was the greatest player at their best. Which would probably put someone like Bale ahead of Giggs. Although Bale didn't even make my team, but he was close.

I mean, if we are being honest, it will be majority Man Utd players.

Big Pete

Neville
Terry
Ferdinand
Cole

Keane
Scholes
Viera

Ronaldo
Henry
Giggs

Shouts to Shearer,Bergkamp,Pires and Beckham. Harsh on Lampard and Gerrard but you don't break up a treble winning midfield.

Nah! Manchester United were a great team that gelled together, and played for a manager who got the best out of all of them. But individually, there were better players in other clubs.

Any team without Keane is already void for consideration. Literally the first player you would build your team around. Also lol at no one picking Irwin
Big Pete
Irwin Ferdinand Terry Cole
Viera Keane(C) Scholes
Ronaldo Henry Giggs
