Such a good episode tonight!

- Natural drama (until the quotes)
- Sandi finally erupting with Brandi
- Seeing more of the real Brandi rather than her being quiet.
- More of the mess that is Jemma vs Paul.
- Everybody seeing Paul and Brandi bitch about them EEK
- A good task for once

I've enjoyed this series a lot more recently, just a shame the first 10 days or something were YAWN otherwise it would be one of the best summer series tbh (not that there's much competition)

This series is the definition of a slow-burner. Started off real slow but has been very good since it found its groove, reminds me of the Channel 4 era. Channel 5 should have never cut it to 25 days.

So they've finally stopped focusing on Sarah, Chad, Amelia, and Sam not long after I've stopped watching? And also not far off the end of the series?

Seriously Ch5 you need to edit this show alot better.

I've read alot of people saying this but I just don't see it, it's very much like Love Island when I was watching it. Even having an ex-Love Island contestant on the show in Paul.

Imo this is the least BB it's ever been, the only BB Housemate that was in there imo was Karthik, and maybe the older Housemates might be aswell if they was actually shown.

I think the lack of show-ruining twists, allowing the natural drama to heat up instead of trying to cause rows on day 3, and a few old-school style HMs (Sarah is such a Channel 4-era HM tbh) has made it feel like that.

The editing is atrocious though and trying too hard to emulate Love Island with the music after each commercial break so I agree with you that it's trying too hard sometimes. But overall, it comes across as the least manipulated CBB in a while at least in terms of the actual production.

This.

One of the only series which is better in its second half (so far anyway)

Oh the lack of twists was positive for the series I'll agree with you on that.

I just feel like the series was made in a way that if you're not a Sarah, Chad, Jemma, or Paul fan then you can't get into the series, which to me I never had that happen to me on a Ch4 BB as you normally could like an outsider with the public and still be able to watch the show and enjoy it. Where as Ch5 doesn't give you that choice I feel.

rusticgal 17-08-2017 09:33 PM

It was good...the task is brilliant though...
