EMMA BUNTON probably thought she would get away with doing a cringey pasta sauce commercial in the States.

After holding up a jar of Prego spicy Italian sauce, a smug American announcer declares: "Even a Spice Girl can't think of a single spice to add to the perfectly seasoned Prego."

Emma joins a long list of stars who cash in by promoting products in adverts.

Stars like BRAD PITT and HARRISON FORD have shot commercials shown in Japan.

Emma thought she'd pass under the radar by shooting the ad for the USA.
