An angry estranged wife took revenge on her husband – by feeding him a curry containing dog excrement.

Speaking in her defence, solicitor Terry Gallanagh said that the case was like 'an episode of Desperate Housewives'.

47-year-old Jill Martin pled guilty to the charge of culpable and reckless conduct at Paisley Sheriff Court.

The court heard that after serving him the dish on March 13, and watching him as he started eating it, Martin burst out laughing.

She then told him that she'd poisoned the curry with arsenic, before admitting that she'd actually put dog faeces in.

Martin had been married to her husband Donald for 21 years, but the court heard how Martin (wrongly) suspected her husband of having an affair , and that the relationship had recently 'hit an all time low.' Then it got lower.

The Sheriff deferred sentencing until November 1. The Martins are currently in the process of getting divorced.

Got to hand it to her looking at the picture it looks like a pretty good curry.

Gross gross gross - i can think of far better ways to punish my hubby than to feed him animal poo! in fact I think I would have thrown up trying to make him a dish like that.:conf2:

Well not actually poo lol :whistle: but I have made him very nasty meals out of spite and watched him eat every last bite in a battle of wills. I once made him a curry so hot it would have stripped paint and he "hates" hot curries but he ate every last bit of it and drank a gallon of water whilst doing so lol

I read about a woman who gave her husband a dog poo pie for having an affair before lol and her husband said it was the pie was nice
