Do you think it's a legit reason to vote off for being jealous that some are pairing

in house? (Sarah and Chad)

I think its part of the game and life

It's understandable to be annoyed by snuggling and negative drama that goes around it

I get it that you miss your loved one and would like her to be there but its weird to go to the house expecting no one shouldnt hook up

*mazedsalv** 21-08-2017 10:37 AM

Nope, it has ALWAYS been a stupid nomination. It should never be accepted, and the fact he said "makes me wish my partner was here", well it ain't their ****ing fault. He could have brought up just the food situation and Sarah's erratic behaviour, but to nominate them because they are a "pair" is pathetic.

Not at all

If he was that bothered about someone else having an advantage over him in the game, then he'd actually do something to increase his chances of winning (like... I don't know, be entertaining), rather than doing nothing but sit and complain about other people for three weeks

If you're talking about Shaun's nomination no I don't think it's a legitimate reason, he watches BB all the time, was he not expecting anyone to get together. He's being really weird about it.

If he said the on/off nature of it was doing his head in or something then maybe that would be valid.

Maybe he just doesn't have the balls to say what he really thinks, I don't know, can't figure it out.

He keeps going on about it being an "unfair advantage" so maybe what he really means is that Sarah has more chance of winning because she got into a showmance and he can't do that so he's eliminating competition. If he's doing that I'd have more respect for him just coming straight out and saying "I'm eliminating my direct competition".

I think Derek also mentioned this some days ago

By 'unfair advantage', I think he means that by pairing up, you immediately have someone to turn to to support you when things get rough. If you're in there on your own, you are simply that, on your own having to cope.

its to sell the story when out. how boring.

jet 21-08-2017 10:54 AM

I think he knows the whole thing is a lot of tripe, and it's getting all this airtime and taking it away from other HM's but he doesn't want to say so directly.

What does Sarah and Chad achieve by being together gamewise? They put their outside relationships on the line for, well, what? To get further in the game?
Why would they do that? They've already got their fee (maybe to get further along to win £50,000 for their charity, but I doubt any of them in that house remember that's at stake). I'd understand if they were allowed to discuss nominations, but neither can

Also the Charah vote will no doubtedly split, resulting in one of them going. If anything, them getting together harms both of their "games"

Being nominated by every other HM
Yea that plan is working out great for them ain't it Shaun

BBUK-Fan 21-08-2017 03:13 PM

I think it's a bit unfair because they didn't go in as a pair so why should they able to be like one? They get an advantage from it and I agree with Shaun that you can nominate them for that

hazyjo 21-08-2017 03:30 PM

They get an unfair advantage in that they get camera time and more columns written about them - but that's not what Shaun meant. Or was it ;) He's making out like it'd be easier with someone. From my memory, not everyone who went in as a couple found it easier. Some wished they were doing it alone and being in a couple/pairing may have actually held them back.

I do think it's more about air time that he don't like it...

So if Someone said they was nominating Shaun and Helen because they are tied at the hip and their closeness gave them an advantage...that wouldn't seem bizarre?

pontyboi 21-08-2017 09:46 PM

It seemed Shaun was looking at it like a competition and felt threatened?

Deal with it and be thankful you're in big brother I mean he's tried for like 5 years and hasn't delivered anything. Unless Janine went in he was allways going to be a bore this shows how much he wants to be on TV cmon he's in cbb he's one of the worst housemates ever.

I'm agreeing with you mate lol. I'm saying his reason isn't that they're in a couple, but that they're stealing his airtime. He's contributed zilch and is looking for someone to blame for his lack of 'personality/air time' in there.
