You need to get your head out of the tabloids and the internet, Brillo; this does not describe the vast majority of people in the "millenials" age range at all, plus you're talking about University age students, so I don't believe you're even talking about Millenials. The age range of Millenials is from roughly 22 - 35. University students are (if fresh from school) 18 - 22, making then Generation Z, not Millenial.
Not that it describes all of or even the majority of Gen Z either.
There are naive, gullible, group-thinking people in all generations. Millenials have a fair bit of it, yes, IMO mainly due to the influence of social media, but it's also rife in Boomers (current age range 53 - 71). The most free-thinking generations are of course GenX and "Xennial" (a crossover generation that encompasses elements of GenX and Millenial). The range that I fall into, obviously :hee:
