Worst Production Decision of 2017

What is the worst production decision of Big Brother 2017?

From CBB19, BB18 and CBB20, what was the worst decision that production made that has ruined the show for you?

- Too many backdoor evictions
- Too many housemates in CBB19 and BB18
- Failed promise of 'United Kingdom of Big Brother'
- Only 2 rounds of nominations in CBB20
- Bad shopping tasks that require no skill
- 4 person final for BB18 and Andrew's pointless stay until the final day
- Flash votes in CBB19 and CBB20
- Bad casting, BB18's UK of BB being reality stars
- Wasting money on pointless things, The Vault,
- Overall bad planning, CBB20 Shaun given a bad launch night task,
- Less Outside Contact

Good one. BB18 was just podiums all the time. I think CBB19 had the best tasks this year

Ant. 25-08-2017 04:40 PM

The decision to (pretty much) backdoor evict half the cast in BB18 (and have 22 housemates in a 54 day series to an extent)

supertv247 25-08-2017 04:42 PM

CBB19 would have to be the housemates
Putting in someone like Ray J only to realise a few days later they'd ****ed up when they could've just had people like Kim from the get go.
BB18 would have to be having 22 housemates in a 54 day series
CBB20 hasn't been bad but I'd say the lack of shopping tasks/continuous immunity meddling

Osjama 25-08-2017 04:42 PM

The fact there was a nomination twist like every week that favoured getting rid of personalities over getting rid of dead weight

Also the tasks were meh

Cbb19 had a few good ones ig

The only good bb18 tasks I can remember was the political debate one and the personaility label one and they weren't even good tasks it was just the people in the task that made them hilarious

Cbb20 had the criminal task which was great but all the others sucked

The thing I hate the most is backdoor evictions. Too many housemates in BB18 and I hate how Kieran and Hannah had backdoor evictions when Savannah got a front door one.

The over-production in the last few days of BB18. They could've just done a Chanelle & Hannah fake eviction, make them nominate, evict Charlotte backdoor halfway through the week, open the VTW, evict 2 and boom you have your 6 finalists.

Instead they straight evicted Chanelle and Ellie, did a NON-LIVE fake HOUSEMATE VOTE eviction of Tom and Hannah, a backdoor eviction of Charlotte, and then a DOUBLE backdoor eviction in a VTW despite the fact that we already had 6 finalists

It was stupid having so many housemates (22) and whittling them down to the final of 4 (Forget Andrew)

That kept them awake I think so it was good and actually made them work for it a bit

35ws\rygdvsw\s4rdt Andrew being given a pass to the final day was straight garbage

Definitely a kick on the face when Hannah and Kieran lasted 52 days and Savannah only did a week, nd provided less to the series. If backdoors need to happen, make them happen early on in the series so the housemates who last long get the full experience and a deserving exit through the front door. 22 housemates is what the 13 week series of C4 had, so why they tried to have 22 housemates in an 8 week series I'll never know

Nobody wanted him there. The housemates didnt but I guess they kept him for any more drama that could have been squeezed out of him. "Hell's coming!"

Completely agree. Backdoor Eviction at the beginning to get rid of the first few

I mean I guess he was the 2nd chance winner so he should leave on the final day but he should've left with Sam. They clearly only kept him to the final because they thought he'd cause drama (which he did, but it was piss poor drama... "HELL'S COMING!" ok...)

Even the longer, 13 week series had six people finales. There was no point in making it a 4 person finale

supertv247 25-08-2017 04:52 PM

Opening the door for Sukhvinder
They should've kept that shut until she went back down!

Ryan__ 25-08-2017 04:53 PM

I'd say the only two poor production decisions in CBB20 have been the (lack of) shopping tasks and the flash vote last week.

y.winter 25-08-2017 04:53 PM

The ridiculous amount of backdoor evictions.

1. Andrew was kept for any last drama

2. I guess the 4 person final was to keep up with Love Island but why?

Kim wouldn't have been as iconic if she was in it from the start, she said she acted crazy af because of the dynamic of being a new housemate.

I like 4 person finals there simple, clean and not tiresome.

Fair enough, but they still wasted so much money on a below average cast to start with

Which is why I didn't exactly mind Jasmine's in CBB19 (a bit **** housemates evicted her, especially after they voted to evict Austin days prior - which also annoyed me in CBB19 and BB18 - the fact housemates voted to evict housemates quite often, it's nice if we know it's happening more than a day before and if it's planned and as a twist once in a while but they went overboard this year) because she left on Day 12, which was practically a third way through the series so it didn't feel too bad? Whereas we had 4 backdoor evictions in the last half of BB18 (3 within 3 days in the final week may I add!). It was ridiculous
