Mine are gonna be 80s and early 90s, seeing as that's when I was a child.
I have a memory of during the school holidays on a hot summers morning and waking up to my sister blasting this one out. Some others that remind me of childhood, there's many, but I'll select a few. |

Summer of 1999, I was 9 years old and it was absolutely amazing. Boiling hot, every kid in the area playing together every single day from morning 'til night, everybody was hooked on the WWF (Austin vs. McMahon feud), no phones, no computers, no hassle whatsoever just total innocence, freedom and fun. Never forget those days, the absolute best ever.
This song was everywhere and totally defined the Summer. Just a fun, lighthearted tune that gets me all nostalgic and fuzzy inside. |

Being from Hull, The Housemartins were a huge part of my childhood music.
London 0 Hull 4 was one of the great albums of the 80s and still great to listen to today, aged well. Paul Heaton would later go on to form The Beautiful South and Norman Cook would go on to become Fat boy Slim. |
i was born in the 90’s so after some of these were released but my sisters used to play them all the time so they are the ones that have stuck with me the most
|
A few that came to mind
(anyone who had a sister in the 90s) (reminds me of my dad) (watching Digimon the movie every day) (watching WWE every saturday morning) (remember thinking these were the coolest girls ever) (the first artist I stanned aged 8 :flutter:) |
