Ashley. 10-09-2017 11:49 PM

Driverīs license costs over 1000 € here. And thatīs only the basic stage. More if you need to use the track to practice, other practice, exam price, advanced stage, upgrade course to M-B etc.

I think you can pay it in parts, but thatīs still very costly.

Calderyon 11-09-2017 12:05 AM

And thatīs the cheapest price. :skull:

Also you have long waiting period (3 months) before you can go attempt the advanced stage.

LaLaLand 11-09-2017 12:50 AM

Yes, 10 years on the road just gone.

No, I was born deaf (although I'm not anymore) and have a lot of issues because of it when it comes to spatial awareness and hand-eye co-ordination and such and I've never felt comfortable with the idea of driving a 2 ton killing machine.

I've also been run over so that plays on my mind a lot when it comes to the thought of driving.

Years ago when I was in school, I was in a rush because i was late and ran out because I thought the road was clear but it wasn't and I got hit by a big ol' range rover.

That's some serious stuff there! Glad you survived it (as are you no doubt).

You said you were born deaf but aren't any more. Did you get one of those cochlear implant jobbies ?

Absolutely love your Kate Bush Avatar and Sig. pics!!!! I'm a HUGE Kate Bush fan. Probably (imo) the most talented musician ever.
I've got a really good CD that's all demo and different versions of her songs. Think it's a Bootleg/Unofficial disc but it's definitely worth having.
I've got quite a lot of her earlier stuff on Vinyl as well as CD. Sounds fantastic on Vinyl!

I broke my foot and cut my eyelid.

They gave a card to the school to give me, it had a lot of money in it and that's the story of my first bribe.

Yeah, I had no serious injuries in the end but got a lifelong cautious attitude when it comes to roads and a distrust of drivers.

Yeah pretty much, I've had nine operations where they've had to put in implants, T-Tubes, Grommets and such.

She's a goddess <3

You ran out in the road so don't see how you can distrust drivers I think you are more cautious.

I hit a 8 year old girl years ago when she ran in the road, thankfully she was ok but got up and ran off like a cat.

I always give people on the road plenty of room
