Bojo going?

Fingers crossed! :)

Boris Johnson has hinted he could walk away from his Cabinet post amid a growing row over Theresa May’s Brexit strategy.

The Foreign Secretary failed to rule out resigning after intervening days before Ms May was due to deliver a key Brexit speech in Italy with a 4,000 word newspaper article outlining his personal vision for the EU divorce.

He reportedly told friends he would have to leave the frontbench if the Prime Minister accepted a Swiss-style arrangement where Britain would continue to pay for access to the single market after Brexit, according to The Telegraph.

"reportedly told friends"

sad to see a once ok newspaper resorting to basic clickbait

:bored:

He'll be the next PM.

Let's hope so! The man's an embarrassment.

I sort of doubt it though. The PM's not in much of a position to go around sacking her cabinet. If I was her I'd rather a troublesome foreign sec than a disgrubtled BoJo on the back benches.

The point is unbelievably,he would likely be a bigger problem for her on the backbenches.

He does a fair bit of the time anyway as to making subtle or contradictory statements now but as a backbencher,he could well much do or say what he likes.

Far easier for him too,to slowly organise a power bid for himself to oust her from there too.
A very ambitious and dangerous individual is Boris as to his personal ambitions.
Full of deceit and backstabbing.

When she goes, really the Cons need a total break with higher profile past names.
A really fresh and likely younger more moderate needed now.

i dislike Boris, i always have, he is a cold, calculating individual. Corbyn is very much the same, just with a different political agenda. I'm no fan of May, don't trust her either. The only political figures I could get behind at the moment would be Hilary Benn or Amber Rudd, and both have next to no chance.

The hate that Hilary Benn gets from some people is a bit baffling to me. He seems a very sensible and decent person, and I wouldn't really place him on the right wing of the party.

I think people compare him with his father way too much, and don't judge him as an individual with his own ideas.
