JOEL Dommett is returning to I'm A Celebrity to co-host spin-off show Extra Camp, The Sun's Bizarre column can exclusively reveal.

The hunky comedian, 31, who came runner-up in last year's series, will join reigning Queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt, 26, after Stacey Solomon and boyfriend Joe Swash were dropped from the programme.

The shake-up comes after Vicky Pattison and Chris Ramsay were also previously axed by bosses.

A TV source said: “Show bosses wanted to refresh the format and give it a new lease of life.

“They feel Scarlett and Joel have great on-screen chemistry and they’re hoping the ratings will reflect that.

“They're a naturally funny pair together so the risk should pay off.”

A spokesman said: "We will announce our 2017 presenting line up in due course."

Scarlett has gone onto forge a presenting career on Channel 4’s Streetmate and had a starring role on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeover since winning the show.

And Joel has continued touring the country with his stand-up, as well as spending time with his model girlfriend Hannah Cooper.

I’m A Celebrity is scheduled to return to screens in November, with bosses currently scouting for star names to join the line-up for the hugely popular show.

I keep seeing him on tv like "wow who's that he's HOT!" and they said joel and im like "oh ya him" so at least if I see him every night for 3 weeks I might recognise that hunky bod?
