BS Stewardess in Rant about Nigerians and their BBC's

:omgno:

British Airways has started an investigation after a video emerged showing a woman wearing the company's uniform making racist comments about Nigerian passengers.

A clip emerged of the woman, who was dressed in BA uniform, partly captioned "I can't cope with this flight", in which she swears, adding "all Nigerians are going to be asking for f------ upgrades".

During the minute-long video, the unidentified woman says passengers on the flight to Nigeria would need more leg room owing to the size of their genitals.

The airline said: "We expect the utmost professionalism from our staff when they are representing British Airways. We are investigating this video."

On the internet, you can be anything you want - its strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

Counterpoint; whilst intelligent people can indeed be intentionally stupid... a genuinely stupid person can never choose to be anything other than stupid.

She shouldn't have broadcast it online but that doesn't make her a racist.

On the thread: doesn't matter if she was being genuinely racist or just "having bants" in terms of how they follow it up, tbh. Not that I'm against workplace "bants" but... you engage it in fully knowing that the company you work for won't like it and you might end up with disciplinary action being taken. You can't say "It wrr just bants guvna!" and expect to be let off with it .

In other words... Be careful what you say depending on who is around, and also, don't record it or broadcast it online .
