do you swear in front of your parents

i do in general conversation with mother (but not my dad bc he hates swearing)

Cal. 29-09-2017 08:56 PM

NEVER like a year ago but kind of now yeah.

RileyH 29-09-2017 08:56 PM

yes with mum but not dad

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 29-09-2017 08:58 PM

my mum still gasps when i use the C-word but i’ve only started doing that since game of thrones desensitized her to it

Ramsay 29-09-2017 08:59 PM

yaw

Morgan. 29-09-2017 08:59 PM

No, I never have just because I think it's more appropriate around friends. Even though my parents wouldn't mind, I just feel uncomfortable swearing around them.

Smithy 29-09-2017 09:04 PM

Yes although my mum always moans, like bitch get a GRIP all the time in front of George’s parents too

smudgie 29-09-2017 09:21 PM

All dead now, but no, not in general.
I don't expect my grown up kids to swear in front of me..son does forget himself now and then but I pull him up on it.
As parents it is very very rare our kids would have heard us swear....until son became obnoxious and needed a few home truths that is:blush::joker:

Jason. 29-09-2017 09:31 PM

Yes.

And whenever they dare question me about it, I'm like "Hmm, should've done a better job raising me then!"

caprimint 29-09-2017 09:31 PM

Yeah if it's necessary

Marsh. 29-09-2017 09:32 PM

Not really. I occasionally do it but I then again I'm not an effer and a jeffer in general.

I swear but not so much that it loses its effect.

But, my god, actually, since I've started driving I do so much raging in my car I bet people think I'm a maniac. Even little old ladies aren't safe from my lethal tongue. Teehee.

Brother Leon 29-09-2017 09:32 PM

Nah. My parents would give me the death stare if so. The only exception I get is when I'm watching football and they are in the room

King Gizzard 29-09-2017 09:44 PM

mum no, she'd hate it
dad no, he wouldn't mind, I just don't

only really tend to swear on the internet, rarely do it day to day in life

Ninastar 29-09-2017 10:10 PM

I swear in front of my mum all the time but I wouldn’t swear at her or she would kick me out

I can swear in front of my dad but if he’s with his wife I won’t do it

armand.kay 29-09-2017 10:27 PM

I say words like 'sh*t' but never the F word or anything.

Strictly Jake 29-09-2017 10:29 PM

Of course I'm 27 I'm pretty sure they wouldn't smack me in fact my dad taught me the good ones

Firewire 29-09-2017 10:31 PM

No, never have. I would feel awkward if I did. I know I shouldn't but hey ho.

I bet you have a few choice swearwords for her though. :hehe:

Babayaro. 29-09-2017 10:41 PM

Nope, never. Only time I do is when I'm playing in the same football game as my Dad.

All you foul-mouthed monsters x

But really yeah I do sometimes, I learnt it from them and they swear infront of me so it’s only fair x

Niamh. 29-09-2017 10:59 PM

Yeah, my dad swears worse than anyone anyway

Daniel-X 29-09-2017 11:08 PM

Yeah, don't say 'twat/cünt' but I do say the rest (ik some people on here think twat is like really not bad at all but I've been brought up with the belief it's the second worst after cûnt)

waterhog 29-09-2017 11:25 PM
