Season. Mostly because most of the shows that i have watched are of US origin.

Both are correct though in their own way.

Series = The complete show, all seasons combined

Well for shows made in the UK, they use series to represent a season...

Yeah this, I say it even for British shows just because I use series when I'm talking about an entire show.

I do think the season/series distinction is a good one though, but I just always feel weird referring to a British show as a 'season', it doesn't sound right :laugh:
