If you're not having haggis and black pudding you're not doing it right

Fry up was what we called the Sunday dinner leftovers all thrown together and fried in a pan for supper, or the next day, bubble and squeak with extras.

But if we were to have a full English then it would consist of:
Sausages, bacon, egg, tomatoes, pease pudding, black pudding, mushrooms, all served with toast and tea/coffee.
Funnily enough we would have it at tea time rather than breakfast nowadays, used to be my son's birthday treat on the Sunday nearest to the day to have the full Monty.

Sausage
Bacon
Tomatoes

Black Pudding
Beans

Hash browns
Eggy bread

Vegetarian breakfasts

Scrambled egg, mushrooms, baked beans, avocado, tomato, hash browns.

Very rarely ever have them and that's only at a restaurant, never at home.

Shaun 18-10-2017 01:13 PM

Bacon, scrambled eggs, hash brown, sausage and some (french) toast.

Can't stand beans or mushrooms and a tomato adds nothing to the taste of it.

Maybe white pudding is more popular over here  , it doesn't have that kind of after taste that black pudding has

Nicky91 18-10-2017 03:40 PM
