Binge watching or taking your time?

Do you prefer to binge watch a series or do you like to take your time with it? Binging would be watching like a whole series in a day or two and taking your time would be an episode or two per night, or watching a series over the space of a few weeks, etc.

can a mod add a poll please :/

RileyH 28-10-2017 04:33 PM

depends on the show

Shaun 28-10-2017 04:34 PM

you can add your own poll you dozy mare! (click thread tools)

and nah I only ever watch 2 episodes at most at a time.

I can never binge-watch something. I get bored pretty quickly and after two episodes, I find myself wanting to do something else.

I'm on my phone tbh

Yeah, I'm the same. Watching 5/6 episodes in one sitting would be way too much to take in.

Nvm I see it now Shaun :p

Shaun 28-10-2017 04:42 PM

i only binge something when i’m really rlly hooked on it (t’end of the ****ing world teaze)

y.winter 28-10-2017 05:45 PM

I don't like binge watching good series, as it's an absolute overkill (and I want them to last longer). Unless it's a sitcom and then it doesn't really matter.
I can't understand people who watch an entire series at one. It doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

Couldn't watch a whole series in a week or so either

BigSister 28-10-2017 06:06 PM

I take my time as I don't think ill be able to watch more than 2 episodes in a day

It depends how many episodes there are. I didn't like Breaking Bad, but I boame that on the fact that I watched like 40 episodes in a week. But I'd defo binge a series of 10 episodes or less in a day or two if it was entertaining.

_baileys_ 28-10-2017 11:21 PM

love a good binge :D have worked my way through many old tv series by just watching different shows endlessly finish one binge find another series & repeat :D

Marsh. 28-10-2017 11:37 PM

Depends. I don't purposely binge stuff, I just end up bingeing if I become hooked on it. Especially if there's 10 episodes or less or whatever, then it's just a case of not being able to resist watching the next one.

I very rarely sit watching TV though, I'm always doing something else alongside as I'm so fidgety. Even if it's posting on here or browsing the internet,

Ant. 28-10-2017 11:43 PM

I've only ever binged OITNB (I tried to pace myself with it, I really did :worry: ), The Walking Dead seasons 1-3, Riverdale (which is awful because how am I meant to wait a whole week to find out the anti-climatic resolve to the GRIPPING cliffhangers when I'm used to waiting 2 minutes?) and Stranger Things (NOT SEASON 2 BC I DON'T HAVE TIME TO BINGE IT SO NO ****ING SPOILERS YOU ****S)

Besides that, i always like to pace myself, or it just gets either too heavy (Breaking Bad) or boring (Fear The Walking Dead/Better Call Saul)

Marsh. 28-10-2017 11:45 PM

I wasn't going to binge Stranger Things this year until Winona Ryder died at the end of episode 1 so I had to continue.
