Original songs in the live shows is a genius move
 

If an act can get success in the competition with their own music it gives them a much better chance of a long and successful career

Not really.
People are invested in the show. Not the acts.

Very few catch on outside of it.

And that goes for original songs or not.

It does make sense really but then you have to wonder why they aren't just signed already.

If everyone had to do original songs all the time going forward it’d be a great step
For the show and I’d be all for it, just a mess mixed in with covers though

If they're going to do originals they have to be decent and not constant piano ballads

Would be quite a lot of work put onto those who work on the show to write 16 songs a week

I always loved this element of Fame Academy so it's one of the only changes they've embraced this year that I don't mind

Yeah I actually quite like the fact they get to do it but I think they will only get to do it for this theme it will be covers from now on. I'm still gutted this ends in 5 weeks

Wouldve been better last year so Saara could’ve done no fear and slain but okay
