8 dead after New York terroist attack
 

A suspect has been arrested in New York after people were reportedly shot by the driver of a car.
Police said they made the arrest after responding to "reports of shots fired" near the West Side Highway in Lower Manhattan.
They urged people to avoid the area as a major emergency services operation was under way.
Unconfirmed reports on social media suggest a man drove at cyclists in a cycling lane before opening fire.
The number of casualties is at present unknown.

According to Sky at least 2 people have died

Seems the majority (think there's 6 deaths confirmed now) were killed on a cycle path rather than the shooting itself.

Some reports saying the gun was a BB or paintball gun, and as Shaun said the deaths were from the truck hitting people

Came from azbekistan, entered the us legally...did this....about time we just stopped allowing people from these countries into ours....and they can blame terrorists for that not us...nuffs enough.

As much as some refuse to acknowledge it the more we allow in the more this will happen, especially when we open the floodgates to thousands/millions of undocumented migrants. We are as good as signing the death warrants of many Innocent people in the West.

Innocent people all around the world are being killed by people born and raised in their own country.

The American guy shooting from the hotel at concert goers' is a good example.

Even if Trump's travel restrictions had come into effect, it wouldn't stop this as Uzbekistan isn't on the list. But yeah, Trump says the USA needs to implement extreme vetting of people from muslim countries.

They are, but to knowingly substantially increase the risk by opening our doors to people from high risk countries whose histories are unknown is madness. Those making these decisions and those that support them have played a part in these tradegies in my opinion. They put us all at risk.

At this rate candlelight vigils are going to end up being the number one cause of global warming

They'll never over-run the West, but the problem is, how many more people have to be killed before we wake up to the fact that we're in a war with radical Islam?

We can't keep censoring ourselves from speaking the truth about who the enemy is, because too many innocent people (including moderate Muslim's) are being needlessly killed and for what? just because we don't want to be called rascist. How f-ing selfish are we?
