Cheryl to return to X Factor in a £1.5 million deal to save the show

The X Factor is reportedly planning on bringing Cheryl back as a judge next year.

Cheryl returned to the show last month when she joined Simon Cowell at the judges houses stage of the competition.

Cheryl’s comeback, as well as her banter with Simon, was such a hit with viewers that bosses want to bring her back full time, and as current judge Nicole Scherzinger is likely to leave the show next year, there’s a seat going spare.

And ITV are said to be willing to break the bank to do it, offering the Call My Name singer a £1.5million deal to breath new life into the long-running talent show.

A source revealed to The Sun: ‘It looks like Cheryl will be back next year. Simon knows Nicole is likely to leave and he wants a big name, and some much-needed glamour on the panel.

I mean I very highly doubt the show can be saved from the mess this series will cause but at least they're trying

Bring back Danii as well, the 10 weeks of live shows and put through unique acts and it has a shot

Yeah no thanks. As much as I think she's good, the show needs a new lease of life they cant keep rotating between the same people ever series.

Yes 10 weeks and sing off is better :shrug: we get to know them more than 6 weeks and no sing off. Look at last year Saara’s journey was the best x factor journey of all time, that would not have happened this year
