Been fairly well known that Corey Haim was abused as a kid (by a few people I think too) but this is the first I have heard of anyone being named.

I guess no one will ever know for sure since Corey is dead but you would wonder what that guy would have to gain from saying it , it's not like he can get any money from Sheen.

Whatever happened I think both Coreys were seriously messed up by stuff that happened to them as kids/young teens in Hollywood

I feel really bad for Corey feldman though, he tried to speak out about this stuff and was made out to be some sort of lunatic

We're deep into a culture of Trial by Social Media. It's a dangerous area to be in. Suddenly it seems to be okay to name and shame people without any kind of trial, or even an arrest.

This is a very slippery road things have turned onto.
Possibly ending up more destructive to some rather than actually being proven right.

If you read the full article it does say that Corey Feldman had said the same thing about this happening to Corey Haim on that particular film a while back but didn't mention names. Corey Feldman has spoken out about abuse he suffered himself as well and was treated like a nutter

Yes, but he doesn't want to name names. I get that he's scared, but I think he should just say who these people are. Otherwise there will never be justice.

That's probably what the defense will say - "Charlie was high, he didn't realise, he thought Haim was the same age!" the article also says Haim wanted more, which people might use in Sheen's favour.

A 13 year old is quite easy to manipulate. At that age they're very vulnerable and easily led. But this is rape and Sheen should should should should be e in jail.

I have to wonder how many non-abusers were privy to the information, and how they could keep it to themselves. A random sound guy or whatever would have less to lose than a big actor.
