She was picked due to her charity work, not for Love Island.
Narrow minded people exist everywhere.

ugh Kady is a queen she deserves way better anyway

lewis111 11-11-2017 08:15 PM

So she didn't actually do anything but because she was on a TV show probabaly none of them have ever watched she's a bad influence for kids?

Marsh. 11-11-2017 08:25 PM

She is a bad role model. GET HA

MB. 11-11-2017 08:26 PM

God, some right miserable pricks must live in Welwyn Garden City

Shaun 11-11-2017 08:29 PM

:clap1: enough celebrating these slags

Marsh. 11-11-2017 08:32 PM

Although as much as I can't stand these reality people, since when was switching the lights on regarded as some high honour for an esteemed member of society?

What happened to the days of Robbie Williams and the Spice Girls groping each other at the switch on?

Cal. 11-11-2017 08:38 PM

Kady has actually used her high profile and money for good and either supports or opened up a dog sanctuary abroad, Icr which. She supports loads of charities too. A perfect role model for children.

Nick. 11-11-2017 08:43 PM

Welwyn Garden City is kinda trash so I'm not surprised

Northern Monkey 11-11-2017 09:49 PM

I mean she did choose a career of letting blokes bang her on telly. Her choice of course but she can hardly be surprised when she’s not wanted for family events like this.
They are right that she’s not exactly a role model for kids.People don’t want their daughters ending up like that.
She’s basically type cast herself.
I’m sure there’s some nightclub appearances she can do that’d be more suitable for her.
I suppose it’s a lesson that fame at any cost is not necessarily a good thing and to choose your path wisely.

Excellent post!

The men and women on programmes like that are as bad as each other - fame hungry chancers with no boundaries. Professional TV prostitutes in my opinion.

I would hope most want better roles models for future generations, otherwise where will it stop!

Feminism! Freedom of speech! (Just not to the extent of letting women do what they want if I don't agree with it).

As I said the same of men that makes your baiting post attempting to undermine my feminist views pretty redundant.

Is it really about letting or not letting people do things, though? You can find something distasteful and not agree with it without wanting it to be banned and (... Gulp...) to be fair to Brillo, she didn't say she wanted this girls actions or choices to be banned or illegal. But surely, believing that everyone has the right to live how they want and bahave how they want doesn't mean saying "everything is fine and awesome!". ... Like it is OK to believe that getting sagged on TV for cash / fame isn't something that most people should aspire to... It is pretty bleak... And I'm not entirely convinced that rewarding that route to fame is necessarily a good idea.

bots 12-11-2017 11:05 AM

its a simple matter of numbers, the number of people that signed a petition saying they didn't want her was significant. If what is supposed to be a family event is going to be a washout, the organisers need to take on board that they made a bad choice. Their choice was inappropriate for the nature of the event, and the people spoke.

Yeah, feminists tend not to concentrate on issues like reality stars not getting to turn on the Christmas lights. And anyway, it's about time young women had some positive role models rather than people who are famous because they're good looking and don't mind getting it on in front of the cameras. Let#s have someone a bit more inspirational.

They say she was asked because of her charity work. Hmmm... I'm pretty sure that if she was an ordinary looking girl in a normal job she would have been overlooked, no matter how much money she raised.

Exactly. No matter how much she does for charity she’ll always be known as ‘the lass who got banged on telly’.That’s what she’s known for.
She chose that route to fame and put herself in that box.
