For a while SCD have been doing extra dancers in couple's individual performances , don't you remember?? I'm sure in Blackpool they let extra dancers participate .

tbh it can be distracting and clumsy sometimes, and one year Jake Wook ( aka max branning EE ) got knocked for six by a clumsy extra dancer who bumped right into him :facepalm: .

And the stupid judges blamed Jake when it was clear in the replay that a professional dancer pushed into him .
