CH5 basically own both shows and pay the wages so its surprised they haven't asked them to take part regularly and is the only CH5 shows they can get known celebs from

Channel 5 partly fund it but they don't own it at all.

Also, UK soap stars go on to CBB, Strictly and Dancing on Ice. Aussie soap stars go on to superhero movies in Hollywood.

The Aussie network has already said they can't afford it and without the UK both soaps would have been axed hence why they agreed to put them on all year with no Xmas breaks

Regardless, Channel 5 do not own either.

They basically do without it being g in writing.

The moment CH5 get rid the moment they both end as the ratings in Australia are terrible and the network can't afford it.

That's not how it works love.

It's about income and CH5 pay millions on millions a year for the show much more than they make in Australia

I think I read as part of the new agreement with Channel 5 Neighbours will be on-air all year round now
