And would you be offended if you found out somebody returned something you gave them?

How can you though? Do you get the receipts with your gifts?

I don't return prezzies no.

My parents do because I think they know I'd most likely try and return them :laugh:

A lot of places will give 'gift receipts' to give with the present for that purpose.

I've never returned anything to a store, but I have returned my gift to someone so they can exchange for a different size (at their insistence). I don't think that it's out of the ordinary though. A lot of folk request gift receipts that they give with gifts all the "just to be sure", especially for something really expensive like technology.

I've only ever exchanged some shoes for a different size.

Only once, because it was a duplicate of a game I already had.

Recycle them, give them back or hide them in a drawer...I normally tell my loved ones in no uncertain terms if they get me something naff.:blush:

I return presents, not to the shop, but to the people who gave them to me with a note on how they can do better next year.
