I'm with you Ella. Working couples have to fund their own IVF treatment as well, even if they aren't earning a LOT of money. Some are just beyond the cut-off to qualifiy for the treatment. Also some are being denied it on the grounds of age. I fail to see how the NHS can justify this. The couple did not clean up their act. Everyone is entitled to a past, but their problems aren't in their past. Their problems are here and now, and therefore it is wrong for them to be helped to have children.
Also, the twitching in the sleep part of the story really made my blood boil. Nobody will convince me that has nothing to do with the methadone. :nono:
