I cant believe Maggie has never been made a Dame
 
When you see the women who do have them you would find it hard to find a women who lost the career she loved to help 100s of people she never knew, a true inspirational hero who deserve every ounce of respect this world can give.

what about Sarah Rowbotham the sexual health nurse who repeatedly reported the abuse, was ignored and then went on to lose her job

both of these ladies deserve recognition

David Cameron's barber awarded MBE for 'services to hairdressing'

David Cameron's barber was awarded an MBE in the New Year honours list for "services to hairdressing", it has emerged.

Raffaele Claudio Carbosiero, known as Lino, has styled the hair of the rich and famous for decades and is known for cutting the prime minister's hair with a left, rather than right-hand, parting in 2010.

the honours list from its inception has never been about awarding people for merit so why would they change it now

Hmm ... awarding her publically like that would be "the establishment" proving they were wrong in letting the grooming gangs go unpunished, maybe?
