Why does this feel like a bigger reinvention than Big Brother 2016?

Big Brother in 2016 was advertised as being "new, different" and re-imagined with the game changing and whatnot when really.... the only thing different was the advertising. The production and whatnot was the same and yeah the stage was different but it didn't make that much of an impact?

This series they never really advertised any differences or changes to Big Brother but the editing and feel and production (even down to the eye) just feels like a re-imagining of Big Brother. The graphics, the drone shots, the previews at the end of the episode, all different touches which I'm liking

They're probably trying to revitalise BB in tme to get the contract renewed but ithey're still interesting changes!

It really does, I was just thinking the same thing. It's sort of old school but sort of new as well. I'm loving it tbh and I really hope it continues like this.

Completely agree

I would LOVE if BB19 and CBB22 follow in the same manner. I really think this is the best editing they could do given how modern TV has became since C4

Me too, especially for BB19. I much prefer the civilian series anyway so if they went with this style (and mostly non famous people... I say 'mostly' to be realistic, it's ch5) I'd love it.

:flutter: We'd only be so lucky

I'm hoping we get at least 60 days this series!
