is anyone gonna watch \"Gavin & Stacey\"?
 

This starts tonight on BBC3, I've seen a few clips, and it look very funny, great cast ,great writing.. I'm really looking forward to watching it. They are showing the 1st two episodes back to back tonight from 9pm -10pm.

ps, I do wish BBC3 would start showing a more varied line up, you can almost guarantee they will show old episodes of "2 pints of lager" virtually every night. BBC have a massive library, .. show us some gems!!!!!! ... not 2 freaking pints of lager on a nightly basis!!!!!

Rob Brydon is brilliant in it.

Gavin and stacey work for the same firm, but about 100 miles apart, (essex and barry island in wales) .. after months of chit chat on the phone, they finally agree to meet up. ( in a nutshell) .. you really gotta see it, the acting is superb.

i thought it was really funny - i like that girl of fat freinds who is init - shes really funny

yeah, i agree simon, the 2 friends of "gav and stace" are probably funnier than the main characters. the big welsh girl is brilliant. i think she co wrote it, i might be wrong. And she was brilliant in Nighty Night, and Little Britain.
.. i just noticed, they are re showing both episodes tonight at 10:30 on BBC3

the essex lad is out of "The Catherine Tate show..( nans grandson), and i've seen the girl in a comedy series with Gryff Rees Jones about a man who owned Swansea last year, very funny. they are both perfect in the roles, but, like you say, its thier friends who steal the show. Alison Steadman is great as Gavins mum aswell.
