Oldest cast ever?

Only three housemates out of 16 are under 30 (Jonny, Jess and Andrew).
Seven housemates, almost half the cast, are over 50.
Average age of the women is 51.2 and men 41.5.
The average age of the entire house is 46.

Should be interesting.

Wow, it's probably the oldest by far? A world apart from the usual towie/eotb filled casts.

Which is good imo. They seem to not put on fake personas for attention (well in most part) but yeah I'm liking it's not the old channel 5 casting couch kleshay and where there's 1 older person the worst being bb12 where the eldest was only 30 lol.

Actually surprising, considering they want BB to compete against LI and its young cast.

Jamie89 05-01-2018 11:09 PM

They've probably gone in the opposite direction because they know they can't compete with LI

It's suprised me so far as it's been like watching a classic series again.

No warnings for talking about controversial subjects and a good mixture which is a step in the right direction as usually by now atleast one housemate would have been ejected or someone had fallen in faux love.

I really hope the men switch this up in a good way not an over the top way like I want real drama if there's going to be any not the **** that bear did or bb did with tasks to cause them.

Just a shame the ratings don't reflect the quality of the series so far but it's nice to see big brother being different again and not pandering to every other reality show to fit in.

Totally agree it's felt really back to basics style social experiment

It is. Big Brother: Mid-Life crisis indeed.
Though the ages of some people can be mistaken for 20-29, especially Malika & Courtney.

Jonny's 26, Andrew's 27 and Jess is 28. Impressive that 26 is the youngest.
