She's great, not afraid to go against the grain,cutely old fashioned and by all accounts a lovely lady although she comes across quite acidic.

I don't really see her as homophobic - her argument against gay marriage was understandable, she thinks the age of consent should be higher for everyone, and she said what consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business.

I think Ann is allowed to have her view and her vote which just one of many and she is in fact now retired. Shane handled the conversation well and very mature when talking about it to Big Brother. I like him a lot.

She has her views, probably based on her religious beliefs, as long as she doesn’t go out to be personally malicious with anybody she is ok by me.

I guess it depends on where her intention came from. If it was something like: "the jury is still out on whether or not gay parents can provide the same benefits as straight, so why change the status quo" it's somewhat understandable, as would be deep rooted religious beliefs.

But if it came from something stupid like "gays are paedos" or whatever then ... no
