Yeah It's not a fear , she just doesn't like drag queens but she's exaggerating it like she does :bored: .

I think everything India does is BS , she hates Ann's views yet she moaned about Courtney coming into the BB house .

Strictly Jake 08-01-2018 07:53 AM

It's stupid as surely during the transitioning stage where she would have to make herself look like a woman she would have had a phobia of herself?

Don't even try to figure it out , she makes no sense and just imagine if Courtney threw a hissy fit after that remark like she does every time somebody disagrees with her :bored: .

India thinks she's special and that everyone should kiss her arse and pander to her BS , she easily get's offended yet it's ok for her to be rude and petulant  .

One thing I have discovered about India is she is a *********** liar. :D

Beso 08-01-2018 12:33 PM

Phew, thought it was just me....another thing.

Personal space...stop ****ing hugging me you...creepy.

Vicky. 08-01-2018 12:36 PM

It is my opinion that India does not like Courtney (NOT drag queens, courtney specifically) because Courtney looks amazing as a woman and could pass easily. Where India just does not pass at all. its not necessarily about being pretty...but looking even slightly female, which Courtney clearly does and India does not in a million years. Therefor I deduce that Indias issue is with any drag queen who 'passes'

Crimson Dynamo 08-01-2018 12:36 PM

I think she wants to be one and because she is too scared she is hating on them

Also they are generally much prettier than she is so that must hurt

I think India is confusing her distain and dislike of Drag queens with an actual phobia.

India makes things up as she goes along - you need a good memory if you're gonna do that.

Yeah that might be it alright, Courtney does look amazing as a woman imo, actually he looks better as Courtney than as Shane

Didn't she discuss this in her VT (or early in the show), before she knew anything about Courtney? I'm sure I remember it coming up. She seems to have a lot of confidence in her body anyway though to me and to like it and showing it off. I honestly just think her issue is that she doesn't like being compared to or referred to as a drag queen herself (which happens to trans people a lot!) and that's turned into an aversion to them.

Courtney certainly looks more 'womanly' than I do  I wonder how many men were questioning their sexuality when seeing her

I didn't watch the launch night so maybe India did. (it was kind of on in the background and when the stereotype rubbish started from India I left the room. Cannot stand that ****)

Being compared to drag queen wouldn't give you a 'phobia' though.

Maybe its India knows many drag queens pass better than India does, in that case. Or India has internalized homophobia, given they are a male attracted to male people and only just came out with this after 50 years. That would make one 'phobic' of drag queens, even though drag queens are not always gay.

I agree it shouldn't... but then a phobia is by definition irrational. I don't think it's justified but I can see how it could manifest in someone like India. She seems very self centered, over-reactive to how things make her feel and less considerate of how she might make other people feel. So if seeing drag queens reminds her of negative feelings associated with comparisons, that's a negative response to seeing something which is sort of how phobias develop.

Vicky. 08-01-2018 01:43 PM

Maybe I am judging India too harshly then. I just have no time for narcissists with victim complexes

Jamie89 08-01-2018 01:43 PM

Oh I just saw the edit but I don't really think it's that either imo :p

..I think she also compared her phobia to that of a clown phobia which is quite common...maybe she feels it’s hard to ‘see the person’ behind drag queen make up which tends to be very heavy make up...so like wearing a mask, type thing...?....that would also make sense to me to create a phobia, I have a huge phobia of masks....

I think it's more a case of them stealing her thunder and being better looking than she is, tbh.

Best drag queen I have ever seen. Seriously, I think it's wrong to label her/him as a drag queen.

The face looks like a normal woman. :D Drag queens are usually like panto dames.
