My alternate BB8 eye
 

Hi - I'm new to the forums but I've been browsing for a while.
Anyway - REALLY dissapointed by the BB8 eye, its an OK design, but we've become accustomed to such elaborate logo's over the past 3 years that a simple colour change seems a bit archaic, eatock could have done something more.

Anyway heres my design, by no means fantastic but in my opinion better than the official one, I've named it "serpent"

I kinda drew inspiration from the BB6 / BB5 eye which were my personal favourites

Right I've done a first ammendment. personally I thought my primary design was too bright, and that the actual serpent pupil was far too large, I've also added red to make it "darker" and more "evil"

I'd say the original one is great :D

Not a fan of the second one tho. Too much dark.

Though it wont be much brighter, because im going for a pan-evil theme
