Do you like Face-to-Face Noms?

Just wondering x

andybigbro 09-01-2018 05:56 PM

Tbh I don’t mind them but they over killled them so it’s not exciting which they try to make it be.

Marcus. 09-01-2018 05:56 PM

yes but do give weak reasons

chuff me dizzy 09-01-2018 05:58 PM

No I dont like it ......People choose different to who they would pick in the diary room, they go for the quieter hm8s who wont kick up a stink

Jodie. 09-01-2018 05:59 PM

I think yes but aslong as it isn’t overdone (I’m fairly excited for this one bc it feels like we haven’t had it for ages)

This.

Vicky. 09-01-2018 06:05 PM

Yeah as a one off. But I think they should have to pick their noms beforehand and I really do think they should be unaware that its going to be face to face when they actually chose. I think they should nominate as usual in the diary room, then later in the night be told that they must repeat their nominations and the reason they gave. And if they try to chicken out of saying the reasons...then their original nom should be shown. Would stop all the copying of answers and silly 'she would be happier at home with her kids' or whatever.

No but it's alright if they use actually valid reasons and don't wimp out and use "you look tired, you should go home!! x" reasons that usually screw over my nice, old faves.

lewis111 09-01-2018 06:08 PM

I'd rather they just played the noms to the house if they wanted to stir it up
It's easentially the same thing but people are much more honest

Agreed

TomC 09-01-2018 06:13 PM

i've not watched a full CBB since CBB17, and idk if they did them in CBB18-20, but personally I've not seen F2F noms for two years, so I don't mind them doing them this once.

It was awful when they were a staple once or twice a series in 2014 and 2015.

ethanjames 09-01-2018 06:18 PM

on bbus its been proven to be great but its not as good on bbuk

Gusto Brunt 09-01-2018 06:25 PM

Yes

smudgie 09-01-2018 06:29 PM

Yes.
Especially if it causes chaos.

Babayaro. 09-01-2018 06:38 PM

Yes, but only when done right. This would include: not doing them right at the start of the series, making sure everyone gives full and frank reasons, having a time limit (nothing worse when it drags) and only having it ONCE during a series (preferably in the middle/end as that is when relationships have properly formed, which makes the whole thing all the more harder)

Imo

I think that would be great.

Marsh. 09-01-2018 06:57 PM

No because it's never genuine.

The first couple will pick easy targets and then the rest will copy to not cause a fuss.

Jamie89 09-01-2018 07:02 PM

I don't mind them but I'd prefer diary room nominations. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist.

caprimint 09-01-2018 07:04 PM

Yeah tbh. They're always entertaining and interesting.

bots 09-01-2018 07:12 PM

i always remember the face to face noms with Gary Busey where one particular woman completely lost the plot with him, I think she got evicted almost immediately after

Amy Jade 09-01-2018 07:20 PM

Depends really, I am looking forward to these ones because I think India will kick off but sometimes there is no need and if they do it more than once it just seems desperate

uh Stephanie Pratt was a queen who survived two evictions after that so :nono:

_baileys_ 09-01-2018 07:23 PM

yes someone in that house needs some home truths.. ;)

Ashley. 09-01-2018 07:24 PM

No. I know they're done to create drama but I think they do the complete opposite - more often than not, it just ends in an apology party. It's more interesting to see people's reactions when they're nominated and they don't know who or how many people nominated them.
