Why did Suzie even want to be in the house?

She clearly didn't have anything in common with anyone, she wasn't interested in really finding any common ground, she wasn't interested in joining in with their banter or games... yes a lot of it was childish but again that just begs the question, why did she want to go in then? All she did was drink tea, go to bed early, and look down her nose at everyone.

I never thought that she could be, anything but catastrophe, but suddenly I began to see that she was the one for me. Cause she had a Golden ticket, she had a Golden twinkle in her eye. And with a Golden ticket it's a Golden day.

I think I remember her saying after her eviction that she only wanted to go in for the TV exposure and that she wanted to become a presenter.

To get grace out

She was obviously in it for the fame.

Still, what a brilliant tea driker she was  Seriously one of the best housemates of her year and should get more appreciation.

To be an icon

Pretty obvious, I'd have thought

crashandburn 13-01-2018 05:47 PM

But this is what I don't understand. How did she think she was going to get famous by doing nothing and not even trying to join in with the other housemates?

Other than being remembered for drinking tea by a handful of people on a big brother forum, where's her fame?

I have to give respect where it's due though - I love that she nominated Grace and Nikki, knowing that Grace was hated and Nikki was loved, she knew the public wanted Grace out and there's no way Grace would win over Nikki. She probably strongly suspected as the golden housemate that her nominations would be the only ones.

and how that was one of the best moments in BB7 to get that bitch Grace out :smug:

Susie, one of the most underrated housemates ever...

looper007 08-09-2018 11:24 PM

People forget that even been a boring housemate on BB back then got you a ton of money from Press and TV work, that's how popular it was. Suzie thought she just sit back and make sure she got enough exposure, although she had a bit of the fame wannabe in her, she was also a bit of old fashioned type just with fake boobs.

She was also a mother, also a good bit older then most of the housemates in the place. She didn't have that much in common, she made a impression but once that whole Grace thing was over it was already over for Suzie.

She explained in her interview it was to get a media career!

Marsh. 08-09-2018 11:30 PM

She admits her husband bought the ticket for her because she was desperate to be on TV.

Doesn't matter why, I'm glad she bloody did! A queen!

Then Richard roasted Grace back by calling her "horse face Grace" :hee: one of the best one liners from BB7 .
