She has her own views but she doesn't put other people down for disagreeing with her, and doesn't expect everyone else to fall in line with her views... She has intelligent conversation about it and doesn't deserve all of the hate she gets for being truthful about what she believes in.

There are people out there that rape kids but support homosexuality, do we have to automatically like them because of their views? Or should we judge them on how they act instead?

Like it or not, she was an MP that could vote on these things because she was voted in by the majority of people in her constituency, she was voting on behalf of a lot of people. Doing her job believe it or not. And luckily the majority ended up disagreeing with her and who she represents, so now we have gay marriage, transexual operations on the NHS, and a bunch of great stuff that we would never have had if the LGBT community simply disregarded everyone that disagreed with their movement.

Views can be changed, but through discussion and teaching. Not through refusing to laugh at a funny old lady because she believes in different things to you.
